A new PG rating for “Mary Poppins” raises the question of whether many adults want to engage with kids about difficult themes — even when the children do.
Glynis Johns starred opposite Julie Andrews in the classic movie “Mary Poppins” and was the first to sing the bittersweet standard-to-be “Send in the Clowns” by Stephen Sondheim.
