Jens Haaning has been ordered to repay $69,894 to a Danish museum for the canvases, which were part of a piece titled “Take the Money and Run.”
At first the tremors were thought to have been caused by earthquakes, but on Monday researchers said they were caused by pressure waves from "an unknown source."
The deadly snake escaped on Saturday via a light fixture in the ceiling of its glass enclosure at the Skansen Aquarium.
