In the world of fast food, apparently chickens come first.

Chick-fil-A is officially America's best "limited service" (aka fast-food) restaurant for the second year in a row, according to the annual American Customer Satisfaction Index.

Chick-fil-A won top honors for customer satisfaction, with a score of 87 out of 100 in a survey of 5,000 restaurant-goers. Here's the top 10 fast food restaurants

1. Chick-fil-A

2. Papa John's

3. Little Caesar's

4. Panera Bread

5. Arby's

6. Dunkin' Donuts

7. Subway

8. Chipotle

9. Domino's

10. KFC

The self-proclaimed inventors of the "original" chicken sandwich, Chick-fil-A has spent the past couple of years expanding across the country and adding healthier offerings to its menu. Despite being closed on Sundays, the chain makes a crazy amount of profit per restaurant, and in a turnabout from past anti-gay controversies, just gave free food to blood donors in Orlando after this month's tragic shooting at an LGBT nightclub.

Oh, and their signature sandwich is darn delicious, too.

"[Chick-fil-A has] a pretty limited selection of offerings and are really focused on chicken and chicken sandwiches," Forrest Morgeson, director of research at American Customer Satisfaction Index, told CNN Money. "They focus on what they do best, and it does well."

At the end of the day, poultry clearly rules the roost. Cheers to the chicken sandwich!
