Obama Needs to Focus 100 Percent on Syria and Forget About the Economy and Jobs

Even if it bankrupts America and brings about a total and complete collapse of our economy, our society and our way of life, we need to focus all possible U.S. resources on the "Crisis in Syria."

I don't know about you and your family, but over at my house we have put all of our daily chores and challenges aside. Now, we are all focusing 100 percent of our time and attention to the "Crisis in Syria." My wife and I have stopped going to work, we have pulled the kids out of school, and there will be no more video games and yard maintenance at our house until there is a resolution to the "Crisis in Syria."

I know most Americans will agree, President Obama and Congress need to drop everything they are doing and spend 100 percent of their time on this crisis.

I know what you're thinking, the U.S. economy is a disaster, unemployment is way too high and more Americans are on food stamps than ever. Major cities around the country, like Detroit, are going bankrupt. Our country is $16 trillion in debt, trillions of dollars are unaccounted for at the Federal Reserve, and trillions more in Pentagon spending are unaccounted for. America is so broke that we had to shut down the White House tours, ground the Blue Angels, lay off teachers at military bases, and furlough thousands of federal workers. We are going to need to cut Social Security and Medicare. Medical services for wounded veterans are also being cut.

America is so broke, President Obama has proposed to close the only agency in government to assist the 28 million small businesses where most Americans work, the Small Business Administration (SBA). He claims it will save $300 million a year, or about as much money as the Pentagon spends a month on Q-tips. Even if President Obama does terminate the Small Business Act, which is the most efficient and effective economic stimulus program is U.S. history, I know American small businesses won't mind going bankrupt and losing everything as long as we can find a solution to the "Crisis in Syria"(BTW, the SBA budget is .001 percent of the Pentagon budget).

I know most Americans will agree, so what if the NSA is violating the Constitution and all federal law and monitoring our every move? What if the IRS is targeting any and all groups that don't agree with President Obama?

Even if it bankrupts America and brings about a total and complete collapse of our economy, our society and our way of life, we need to focus all possible U.S. resources on the "Crisis in Syria."

And the 400,000 plus people that have been murdered in Darfur and the 2.5 million that have been displaced, we can't be bothered with that because guess what, no gas, so sorry folks. No cruise missiles to the rescue.

President Obama has drawn a red line that can't be crossed (I heard it's more of a burgundy line but that's not important). It's time we teach these tyrannical dictators around the world we will not accept the use of gas to kill innocent civilians.

You know, like Saddam Hussein did with the chemical weapons the U.S. sold him when he killed around 5,000 Kurds and injured up to 10,000 innocent civilians in the village of Halabja. Thousands more died of complications, diseases and birth defects in the years after the attack.

By the way, Iraq purchased eight strains of anthrax from the United States in 1985, according to British biological weapons expert David Kelly. The Iraq military settled on the American Type Culture Collection strain 14578 as the exclusive strain for use as a biological weapon according to Charles Duelfer.

But anyway, I digress. These dictators need to learn chemical weapons are just not to be tolerated. We will tolerate rape, torture, hanging, decapitation, electrocution, genocide, aborticide, femicide, familicide, infacide, androcide, asphyxiation, firing squads, vaginal mutilation, hacking off hands, arms and legs, removal of lips and eye lids, landmines, booby traps, people being burned alive, skinned alive, drawn and quartered, eviscerated, disemboweled, choked to death, blown up, hacked to death with machetes, speared, impaled, shot by snipers, fragged by grenades, stoned, sacrificed, scalped, burned at the stake, dipped in acid, strangled, stabbed, poisoned, starved to death, vaporized, boiled in oil or water, shot and bombed with napalm and cluster bombs but chemical weapons are off the table. It's just not right.

Because killing people with gas, like California, Nevada, Arizona, Wyoming, Missouri, Maryland, Oregon, New Mexico, Colorado, Mississippi and North Carolina did for decades with their execution gas chambers, will just not be allowed or tolerated.

So we may have to all tighten our belts here in America, we may have to suffer the termination of all state and federal services. We may all have to learn to grow worms and vegetables in our yards to feed our families but we must, and I reiterate, WE MUST focus all possible tax dollars and government resources to find a solution to the "Crisis in Syria."

I think it deserves much more coverage in the media too. I caught a glimpse of something on TV that did not involve the "Crisis in Syria" and I found it to be appalling and insensitive.

(Just kidding...not!)
