'Long Island Medium' Premiere: Theresa Helps Pregnant Woman Who Lost Her Husband (VIDEO)

The "Long Island Medium" left New York for the season premiere of her hit reality show. Theresa Caputo took a road trip down to Florida where she did readings for fans across the state.

Her first reading with for a woman named Melanie. She was trying to reach out to her husband, Leon, who'd passed away after an injury he sustained became infected. It proved an emotionally difficult experience for both women.

“He actually said to me, ‘I tried to come back,'" Theresa told Melanie. "'I actually tried to get my soul to go back in, and I couldn’t get it to go back in.'" At this point, Theresa had to stop, saying, "I can't do this anymore."

But she did go on, and the reading got easier. Melanie found out she was pregnant the morning of Leon's funeral, and Theresa told her that her husband's soul will live on in their unborn son.
