Leonid Meteor Shower Timelapse Offers Stunning View Of Annual Celestial Event (VIDEO)

WATCH: You've Never Seen A Meteor Shower Like This

The Leonid meteor shower that peaked earlier this month may not have been the annual event's best showing, but audiences are still able to get an amazing view of it thanks to this time-lapse video from photographer Stephane Vetter.

Jupiter, Orion, Capella, Draco, the Milky Way, the International Space Station and, of course, quite a few meteors, are just some of the celestial objects captured in the two-minute video.

According to the video's description, the film is comprised of 610 shots, taken with a Nikon D3 with a Sigma 8mm fisheye lens.

Itching to see another meteor shower? Mark your calendars: The annual Geminid meteor shower will (hopefully!) light up the sky on Dec. 13.
