What's riskier than wearing a flesh-toned sheer dress? Wearing a flesh-toned sheer dress that someone else already wore really well.
Actress Bella Thorne took that risk on Monday at the "Hunger Games" premiere when she walked the red carpet in a sheer floral gown by Blumarine. With three-quarter sleeves and a modest neckline, the dress wasn't incredibly risqué; but the short minidress-under-sheer overlay can be hard to pull off.
Kacey Musgraves tried the same look nearly two weeks ago, wearing the Blumarine gown at the CMA Awards. Like Bella, she chose inconspicuous accessories. But her glossy, wavy hair was a nice accent to break up the long, monochromatic look of the dress -- as we well know, if you choose to wear a pale or flesh-toned color from head to toe, best to break it up with some visual interest.
Who do you think pulled off this elegant dress better?
