Brad Pitt Negotiating For 'The Gray Man' Film Adaptation

Brad Pitt Sets His Sights On Next Dark Adventure

Once he's done fighting zombies, Brad Pitt may take on a shadowy team working to assassinate him.

All in a day's work, right?

Variety reports that Pitt has re-entered discussions to star in "The Gray Man," a big screen adaptation of the hit Mark Greaney novel. Amazon.com describes it thusly:

Court Gentry is known as The Gray Man-a legend in the covert realm, moving silently from job to job, accomplishing the impossible, and then fading away. And he always hits his target. But there are forces more lethal than Gentry in the world. And in their eyes, Gentry has just outlived his usefulness.

Now, he is going to prove that for him, there's no gray area between killing for a living-and killing to stay alive.

It was first reported last year that Pitt, who currently is filming "World War Z," was in talks for the film last January. He next stars in "Moneyball," the story of Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane.
