‘Today' Show Makes Huge Blunder In Amy Winehouse Caption (PHOTO)

PHOTO: 'Today' Show's Huge Winehouse Gaffe

A segment about the death of pop star Amy Winehouse went awry on the "Today Show" on Monday.

The lengthy segment showed footage of her fans paying tribute outside her London home, which transitioned into a clip of her music video "You Know I'm No Good." It might've been poignant—except that the caption that appeared over the clip mistakenly identified the song as "You Know I'm Dead."

Strangely enough, as others have noted, the error was off by a huge margin. The morning show acknowledged the mistake, posting an article about the error on its website (the article has since been removed). Winehouse was found dead in her London home on Saturday. The cause of death is unknown, but suspected to be a drug overdose.
