The commencement address that Sheryl Sandberg gave at Barnard in May was one of the best we'd heard in a while. In under thirty minutes, she covered everything from unspoken workplace sexism to the discomfort lots of women feel with the workplace in general.

She even addressed those moments when you're ready to throw in the towel on your professional life altogether.

"Before you drop out," she said, "take a deep breath. Maybe you picked the wrong job. Try again. And then try again. Try until you find something that stirs your passion, a job that matters to you and matters to others. It is the ultimate luxury to combine passion and contribution. It's also a very clear path to happiness."
