Not Based On A Fact: Lean Pockets Tests The Limits Of Scientific Polls (PHOTO)

PHOTO: Lean Pockets Taking A Cue From Jon Kyl

When Senator Jon Kyl famously said that his Planned Parenthood comments were "not intended to be a factual statement," it opened the flood gates for a lot of fun, fake facts, particularly from Stephen Colbert.

But now it seems that some companies are using the "as long as we're honest about lying" approach as a serious marketing tool. Take this packaging for a Lean Pocket product found by Redditer Red_Phoenix. The packaging itself confused us as it appears to be some kind of ink cartridge recycling envelope for sandwiches. But whatever it is, you have to give Lean Pockets credit for being so audaciously (dis)honest.
