According to a Seton Hall University poll, a majority of women believe female reporters shouldn't be allowed to go into an NFL locker room.
The survey consisted of 1,026 adults selected at random. 59 percent of the 556 women polled believe female reporters should be barred from NFL locker rooms.
Rick Gentile, director of the Seton Hall Sports Poll, said it's "unusual" to see more women than men in favor of banning female reporters from an NFL locker room.
After Azteca TV reporter Ines Sainz said she felt uncomfortable in the New York Jets locker room in September, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said a training program will be implemented for every team on proper conduct in the workplace.
Jenn Sterger, co-host of The Daily Line show on Versus, said Sainz "accomplished exactly what she set out to do." Chicago Bears linebacker Lance Briggs said he doesn't think women should be in the locker room.
