Emoji Are Taking Over The World, And One Artist Is Documenting The Damage

Emoji are taking over the world. If we wanted to write that in pithy little caricatures, we'd probably include that evil image of two ballerinas or everyone's favorite pile of poop next to a tiny globe, followed by some sort of violent lighting bolt, a smiley face with tears pouring down its cheeks and a stream of ghosts. That's how serious this emoji situation is becoming.

All jokes aside, artist Able Parris recently reminded us of how ubiquitous the emoji language has become. He's created a series titled #emojidaydream -- featured on his clever Instagram account -- that envisions a world where digital emoji have infiltrated the IRL space.

Essentially, if emoji existed in the physical world, it might look something like this:
