Here's a nudge from your higher self encouraging you to keep moving your business forward and making your mark on the world.
Hey there, little me! How's it shaking?
Whoa, whoa, whoa! What's all this self-judgment going on?
Okay, slow down! You made a mistake at work. It's going to cost you a lot of money. You're also afraid you're not going to meet your sales goal and go broke and have to eat cat food under a bridge all alone for the rest of your life.
You got a lot going on in that mind of yours today. Let me see if I can help calm the storms of your mental chatter.
I get it that you think that you made a mistake and that this mistake is a huge blow for your business. However, you don't even have to tell me what the mistake is because no matter what, I know it's actually a giant piece of perfection pie!
Oh I see, you didn't read the memo yet? Well, let me read it to you:
Attn: little me
From this point on and for all of eternity, there will be no way of ever screwing anything up. I decree all words such as mistake, miscalculation, error, slip, blunder, my bad, boo boo, fudged, or any other word implying that you did something other than perfect to be obsolete.
Isn't that exciting? That means from now on, no matter what you do, it will be perfect.
You can show up to a client meeting with spinach in your teeth, drool all over yourself, and it will be considered nothing short of a masterpiece (Yea, I'm talking Mona Lisa masterpiece!)
Want to know why I made all mistakes obsolete? I did it because everything that ever happens in this entire cosmic playground happens for you, not to you. The forces of the universe are constantly supporting you.
It's like when the manager of the Grand Ole Opry fired Elvis Presley after just one performance telling him, "You ain't goin' nowhere, son. You ought to go back to drivin' a truck." That could've been considered a mistake, but it was actually the best thing that could've ever happened to that manager, Elvis, and the rest of the world. Those were the exact words Elvis needed to expand his soul, shake his hips a little harder, and complain about that damn hound dog, crying all the time.
So called "mistakes" are giving you some incredibly, valuable information to continue experiencing your greatness and sharing it with the world. There's absolutely no way of ever expanding if you don't experience those things that you like to call "mistakes."
Since they are your one-way ticket to expansion and evolution, there's no reason to fret, be disappointed, or beat yourself up over the temporary discomfort you feel from your soul's expansion.
I know this is some big stuff for you to assimilate in just one sitting. You don't have to understand it completely or even believe me right now, but just remember this one thing every time you feel the discomfort of what you believe was a "mistake"
There's absolutely, positively, tutti frutti, no way of ever screwing anything up! The deck is always stacked in your favor. Everything is always divinely inspired and timed for your benefit and continued expansion. This is especially true in those moments of discomfort, despair, disappointment, and depression.
So, next time you make a decision at work that you think is a "mistake," which you will, turn on some Elvis Presley and just sit back and wait for that mistake to turn into a shiny ball of delicious expansion for your soul.
You'll see that divine expansion clearly when you give yourself permission to experience the absolute perfection of each moment.
So, are you ready to put the tissues aside and bask in the glory of your perfect imperfection?

PS: All this talk about mistakes has got me starving. I think I'm gonna order a nice big T-bone steak. You want one?
PPS. My good friend Lana Shlafer passed me a note with your name on it. This is what it said:
"As I look back at each of the 'mistakes' and 'wrong turns' that I've experienced, I see that they were the greatest catalysts for my evolution and success. Now I know that no matter how my life appears, it's alright... because it's ALL right." -- Love Lana
