Writer Calls 'Game Of Thrones' Episode The 'Most Difficult' He's Ever Written

Awesome TV is coming.

"Game of Thrones" writer Bryan Cogman told The Hollywood Reporter that Sunday's, April 27, episode was the "most difficult" he's ever written. Cogman is behind other major scenes like the introduction of Samwell Tarly.

With this, it's apparent that "Game of Thrones" definitely knows how to follow up an episode that featured arguably the show's most controversial scene ever.

Though Cogman didn't give away any spoilers, he did say that this week may be a turning point for one of the possible rulers of Westeros. He says the would-be king (or queen) will need to decide what type of leader they want to be.

Check out the preview for this week's "GoT" episode below.

"Game of Thrones" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
