What Walking Backwards Through Tokyo Looks Like... Backwards

Sometimes it's the simplest ideas that end up being the most magical. Take this for instance: film a man walking backwards through a foreign city and show it in reverse.

That is the very premise for this work of wonder above from new media artist Simon Bouisson titled "Tokyo Reverse" that has photographer Ludovic Zuili walking through the Japanese city awkwardly, but seemingly forward, as everyone and everything around him appear to be going backwards. So simple, so tricky.

Because it's so hypnotic, we're including an extended version above. To learn more about the project or other works by Simon Bouisson, be sure to visit his website here.
