Dog Rescued From Cliff After 200-Foot Fall Near Northern California's Rodeo Beach (VIDEO)

WATCH: Dog Rescued After Plunge From 200-Foot Cliff

Firefighters rescued a trapped pit bull on Sunday afternoon after she fell down a 200-foot-high cliff in Northern California.

Video from San Francisco's KTVU shows two rescuers hauling 7-month-old Mia from the bottom of the cliff near Rodeo Beach, north of the city.

"The dog was kind of wedged between a few different rocks," Southern Marin Fire District Captain Kai Pasquale told the news station. "She was not moving when approached, but moved its head and let them know she was alive."

Mia's distraught owner was at the top of the cliff, and watched the rescue operation.

CBS San Francisco reports that Mia was not seriously injured in the fall.
