Olympic babe Tom Daley just can't seem to stay out of the headlines (especially when his best friend is allegedly posting his nudes on Instagram).

Now, the 19-year-old athlete has earned another honor: Being voted an "Inspiration in Sport" by young people living in the United Kingdom.

The honor comes courtesy of a poll conducted by the National Citizen Service (NCS) and occurred in conjunction with a free event intended to celebrate the achievements of younger people.

Daley released a pre-recorded statement to be played at the ceremony in which he said, “It’s amazing to be part of all the amazing effort you are putting in, so keep up the good work."

Other recipients of similar titles of inspiration at the event included rapper Tinie Tempah and model Lily Cole.

In early December, the diver came out of the closet by revealing he is in a relationship with another man. His partner has been speculated to be Oscar-winning "Milk" screenwriter Dustin Lance Black.
