Showtime Renews 'Shameless' And 'House Of Lies'

"Shameless" and "House of Lies" will be back.

Showtime president David Nevins announced Tuesday, Feb. 18, that the network will renew "Shameless" and "House of Lies" for a fifth and fourth season respectively. Both series will return in 2015 with 12-episode seasons.

"Shameless" Season 4 is on track to becoming the show's highest-rated season and is currently averaging 5.5 million weekly viewers across platforms, according to a statement from the network. "House Of Lies" currently hits three million viewers, which is in keeping with its second season.

Showtime renewed "Episodes," which is part of their current Sunday night lineup, in December. But the network canceled "Californication," which will begin its seventh and final season in April.

"Shameless" airs Sundays, 9 p.m. EST and "House Of Lies" airs, Sundays, 10 p.m. EST on Showtime.
