Tina Turner, Beyoncé, Hugh Jackman And Other Celebs Open Up About Their Long-Lasting Love (VIDEO)

5 Celebs Share Stories Of Lasting Love

Hollywood isn't known as a place overrun with long-lasting relationships. And while it may be relatively uncommon to see a celeb stand alongside the same person from one awards season to the next, it certainly isn't nonexistent. Take these five happily married celebrities -- from Tina Turner to Hugh Jackman -- who open up about the love of their lives.

Tina Turner and Erwin Bach
Together for 27 years before marrying in 2013, Tina Turner and Erwin Bach are as in love now as they were the day they met. "He was another kind of handsome," Turner remembers. "My heart was [pounding] already. My hands were wet and I thought, 'Oh, my god. This is love at first sight.' It was love at first sight."

Stephen Colbert and Evelyn McGee-Colbert
When Stephen Colbert met his wife of 20 years, Evelyn ("Evie"), he was a hard-working improv comic without much money. But it wasn't just the comedian's sense of humor that attracted Evie to Stephen. "It was how kind and generous he is, how smart he is," she says. Evie also trusted that Stephen would eventually find success in his career, telling Oprah, "He was on stage all the time, so he was working all the time... I rolled the dice."

Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness
For Hugh Jackman, spending most of his nearly 18-year marriage in the spotlight hasn't always easy. Yet wife Deborra has handled it with grace, which is something Jackman loves about her bright personality. "Deb is way more vivacious, gregarious, outgoing... She holds a room," Jackman says. "I've become infinitely more confident, infinitely braver and more within myself from being with Deb. I've learned a lot from Deb."

Beyoncé and Jay-Z
While it's not clear exactly when Beyoncé and Jay-Z began dating, there's no question that friendship is at the foundation of their six-year marriage. "I would not be the woman I am if I did not go home to that man," Beyoncé says. "We were friends for a year and a half before we went on any date... To have someone that you just like is so important."

Magic Johnson and Cookie Johnson
Magic and Cookie Johnson received devastating news immediately after their 1991 marriage: Magic was diagnosed with HIV. The struggle seems to have only brought them closer together. "I just love her so much," Magic says, emotional. "We've been together a long time and she's the perfect partner for me... We are soul mates. This is my best friend... Just changed my life and shaped it. And she always allowed me to be me."
