In case you'd run out of terrifying, Cthulian, food-related nightmare fuel, Reddit made you some more. In a Reddit Food post simply titled "Crab Cake," lurked something we really never expected. Crab cakes, while typically disappointingly filled with far too many bread crumbs and not nearly enough actual crab, do not usually strike abject terror into our hearts.

Like Crocodile Dundee before them, Reddit user COL_Brightside basically proclaimed, "That's not a crab cake. THIS is a crab cake." In the grand tradition of the unholy hybrid Cthurkey, please meet Reddit's take on the humble appetizer.

You have a few options. You can either sidle up to the side of this table with the biggest bowl of drawn butter you can find and get to work, or you can go hide under your bed and wait for our new crustacean overlords to take us. We won't judge you, either way.
