Pregnant Kerry Washington and her husband, Nnamdi Asomugha, made a rare public appearance together following the 2014 Golden Globe Awards.
Washington and Asomugha were spotted partying at the Weinstein Company and Netflix bash held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel Sunday (Jan. 12), Us Weekly noted. The "Scandal" star was overheard introducing her hubby to "Fruitvale Station" actress Melonie Diaz.
The private couple married in a surprise wedding in June in Hailey, Idaho. On Sunday, Washington had another surprise in store when she debuted her baby bump on the Golden Globes red carpet.
"I feel like I have the best date of the night, my little accessory here," she told E! News, dressed in a custom Balenciaga gown and touching her belly.
Us Weekly was the first to report Washington's pregnancy back in October.
In the October 2013 issue of Glamour magazine, Washington -- who got engaged to actor David Moscow in 2004 and broke things off in 2007 -- explained why she chooses to be tight-lipped about her personal life.
"I’m walking around in the world with my ring. And when people say congratulations, I say thank you. But I’m going to continue to not talk about it and just let it unfold," she said. "I don’t want to sound smug about it … but the point is to do what’s best for me. I have girlfriends in this business who talk about their personal lives, and it works for them, and I love it. But not for me."
