Kris Jenner Opens Up About Selling Magazines And Khloe's Divorce

Kris Jenner Knows Her Family Is Tabloid Gold

Kris Jenner stopped by HuffPost Live on Friday (Jan. 10) to promote the new season of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" and opened up to host Caitlyn Becker about how the family balances the tabloids and paparazzi while simultaneously inviting viewers to watch their reality show each week.

"First of all, the tabloids don't really matter, because 99.9 percent of what's printed is made up or not true. So we don't pay attention to that," Jenner explained, adding that her family knows all those sensational headlines are only printed to sell issues.

"We sell magazines and we create attention on websites, so people are going to write whatever they want. So, we threw that out the window. I think as far as mainstream media, the girls are constantly on the covers of beautiful, fantastic magazine covers ... their world is very full of all the media that they could ever want, but in a good way," she said.

Jenner maintains that her family doesn't let tabloids weigh them down. She is thankful for their dedicated fans, which the family often refers to as "dolls."

"We have such amazing fans that really stand behind us, and love the show and love the girls, so I think that really helps when you're woking and you're trying to work through a difficult situation. You feel that support and that love, because we get so much. You know, I think so many people refer to the tabloids or the negative stuff, but it's such a small, little nonsense compared to the big picture," she explained.

Jenner also opened up about her daughter Khloe Kardashian's divorce from Lamar Odom, which was a huge story in the tabloids and mainstream press this past year.

"She's having a hard time," Jenner said when asked how Khloe is holding up. "She's going through a very difficult time, but she's doing her best. And I think that you'll see that on the new season."
