For 50 weeks out of the year, interior designer and HGTV host Sarah Richardson is surrounded by color. Her Toronto home is like opening a box of crayons, according to HGTV magazine. But for two weeks during the holidays, Richardson and her family head north to Creemore, Ontario, where she says "it's two weeks of nonstop baking, family visits and snowy adventures," all within the cozy confines of her winter white weekend home.
The holiday house, though icy in Richardson's choice of white, pale blue and gray paint and furnishings, is anything but cold. And it's a far cry from the bright palette she comes home to the rest of the year.
Take a peek at Richardson's dreamy white digs in the photos below and read more about what went into the design of the space in the December issue of HGTV Magazine, which hits newsstands on November 26.
