'Witches Of East End': Penelope Takes Freya's Magic

Penelope/Athena moved one step closer to whatever her ultimate goal is in her revenge plot against the Beauchamps on "Witches of East End." After getting Freya alone in her house, Penelope drugged her and then performed a spell that allowed her to literally suck the magic out of Freya. Freya didn't even realize it was gone until she tried to start a fire later.

Meanwhile, Penelope was seen at a window summoning lightning with a very satisfied expression on her face. "Thank you, Freya," she practically purred.

Ingrid had problems of her own when the handsome gentleman at the library revealed that he believed witches were real. Further, he believes that they come from a magical place called Asgard -- is Thor there? -- and that the doorway was in East End. Ingrid said she didn't believe any of it, but it doesn't look like the handsome gentleman believed her.

As things are picking up, io9's Katharine Trendacosta said she was sad the show was so close to its season finale. The good news, though, is that this is only a season finale. Lifetime picked up "Witches of East End" for a second season set to kick off in 2014.

There's only one more episode to go before the season finale of "Witches of East End," Sundays at 10 p.m. EST on Lifetime.
