Sarah Silverman Brings Jimmy Kimmel A Box Of His Old Stuff

It wasn't as awkward as it could have been when Sarah Silverman dropped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live." The two dated at one time, and they've run into one another since their breakup -- including an appearance by Silverman on "JKL" shortly after their breakup in 2008. It did seem like the first time they'd had a real talk, though.

"Isn’t this like weird, but good weird? This is human nature. This is the way life is," Silverman said. "People break up, and exes are gonna bump into each other. They’re gonna cross paths. They’re gonna be on each other’s talk shows, you know? It’s the cycle of life.”

“It’s very natural," Kimmel laughed. Silverman kicked off their interview by bringing out a box of Jimmy's old stuff, including old socks, an old phone charger, jeans from before Jimmy lost weight ... and a fake love-child. In exchange, Kimmel gave his stamp of approval to Silverman's new HBO comedy special, "We Are Miracles," premiering November 23 at 10 p.m. EST.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs every weeknight at 11:35 p.m. EST on ABC.
