Kyli Oleson, High School Senior, Raises Money For Gavin Jack, Teen In Need Of Heart Transplant (VIDEO)

This Senior Is Changing The Life Of A Total Stranger (VIDEO)

It's not very difficult to find examples of teens doing incredible things for strangers these days, and Kyli Oleson is yet another teen who has raised the bar.

According to Fox40, when the high school senior heard that 18-year-old Gavin Jack needed a heart transplant, she wanted to help. Despite Jack living in Santa Cruz -- 160 miles away from Oleson's hometown of Roseville, Calif. -- and not knowing him personally, his story struck a chord with her.

"When I found out about Gavin's condition, it really kind of hit home for me 'cause I realized he's a senior in high school and so am I," explained Oleson.

The Granite Bay High School student teamed up with 9-year-old Angelina, who she met through Beside the Blue Foundation, an organization that support families during financial adversity. Originally starting as a senior project, the pair began creating green bracelets to sell along with T-shirts, in an effort to raise the $75,000 needed for Jack's surgery. It quickly evolved into a fundraiser.

Watch Oleson talk about her inspiring project in the video above.

Also this month, a Texas teen named Chandler Lacefield made a very generous gesture for a friend in need. She decided to sell her own Jeep -- a graduation gift from her parents -- to purchase her friend's family a second car that would help them to get to and from school.

Selfless teens, FTW.
