Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel is about to be everywhere this week.

The Mayor is getting beamed into households across the country this week, starting Monday when he sits in David Letterman's guest chair on "Late Show."

As an interviewer, Letterman has been known to grill guests (he even made Lindsay Lohan cry during an interview earlier this year), though it's anyone's guess if the late-night host will put the screws to Emanuel over hot topics like Chicago's homicde rate and massive public school closings.

Emanuel will reportedly fly out to New York City to tape the show and then fly back later that evening, according to his office. Comedian Ricky Gervais and musician Janelle Monae are also Monday guests on "Late Show."

The appearance is scheduled to coincide with Emanuel's second TV stint, the Wednesday debut of the Discovery Channel's new series about White House Chiefs of Staff, "The President's Gatekeepers."

Meanwhile, remember this?

Rahm Emanuel guests on "Late Show With David Letterman" Monday Sept. 9, 10:35 p.m. Central CBS. "The President's Gatekeepers" debuts on the Discovery Channel Wednesday Sept. 11 at 8 p.m. Central.
