Tameka Foster Raymond Breaks Her Silence On 'Good Morning America' (VIDEO)

Tameka Foster Raymond: I'm Missing My Children's Precious Milestone Moments

Less than a week since a judge in Atlanta dismissed an emergency request by Usher's ex-wife seeking temporary custody of their two children, Tameka Foster Raymond appeared on “Good Morning America” this morning to discuss the hearing and her son’s accident.

Raymond admitted that she was “mad” that her five-year-old son, Usher Raymond V, nearly drowned in a pool drain, and revealed that she received the terrible news during a dentist appointment when the R&B superstar contacted her.

“He doesn’t call me regularly, so when I saw his number come up I immediately jumped up, cause I figured he has the boys,” she said. “I didn’t blame him for it. I just was angry that it happened on his watch. Because, while accidents happen, never have my children been injured on my watch.”

Although the 42-year-old was denied temporary primary custody of the former couple’s two sons, she added what she intends on having one day soon.

“I’d like to have my first right of refusal. Which means, when he is not present the kids come home to their mom,” she said. “They don’t stay home with the nanny and watch whatever show he’s on, they come home to their mother.”

“I had to see on Instagram that my 4-year-old lost his first tooth. That’s my baby. Things that are precious moments, milestone moments, I’m just missing them.”
