Sometimes you definitely don't want to take the bull by the horns.
A rodeo bull broke out of a pen at the Dakota County Fairgrounds in Farmington, Minn., Wednesday night, going on a rampage that left 8 people injured, the Star Tribune reported.
The animal broke out of a pen at around 8:15 and made a run for it, KMSP reported. Bystander John Rouleau told the Pioneer Press the that he saw the bull running through a field with a crowd of deputies and police officers trailing behind on foot.
One officer shot the bull twice with a handgun, but the bullets didn't stop the bull. Instead, the bull charged through the crowd and injured multiple people, KSTP reported. After about 15 minutes, two people on horseback guided the 1,200 pound animal to the pen with lassos.
One woman, whose name has not been released, suffered a head wound and other injuries and was flown by helicopter to a hospital. None of the other seven victims needed hospitalization.
