Wildfox At Miami Swim Week 2014: Jipsy Captures The Runway (PHOTOS)

LOOK: Wildfox Throws A Barbecue

Once again, Wildfox Swim was the "must attend" show during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim, but the catch was getting that invite. This year, the California-based fashion house set up shop at Soho Beach House to show their "Cruise" 2014 Collection. Our time with the brand started pretty early at the intimate Wildfox BBQ in the Tiki Garden out back, where we ran into some amazing ladies from Glamour, Lucky and several other publications enjoying the octopus and lobster skewers as they cheered and celebrated fashion with cocktails by Belvedere. We cooled off with some Pinkberry, who just recently opened here on South Beach by the way, and that turned out to be the thing that transported me to the 1970s California boogie vibe I was looking for to get my mind set for this show. As soon as I heard Marvin Gaye's "Gotta Give It Up" started to play, I danced my way to a seat and walked by Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick who were being snapped front row. Minutes later, the show began and big frizzy haired models began strutting the runway over the pool in their high wedged platforms. The collection was filled with Wildfox's signature flirty tops and plenty of swimsuits that could fit almost any woman. So many favorites, but the two I adored were the low neckline, one-piece fruit print suit and the entire flamingo print section. At the end of the show the track was the same as they opened with, the infectious "More, More, More" by Andrew True. Till this day, I can't stop playing it over and over in my head. The collection will be available in November 2013, and for more info visit wildfoxcouture.com. -- JIPSY
