'Behind A Little House': Photo Series Pays Homage To A Tiny Home And Its Larger Than Life Surroundings

LOOK: Photographer Captures One Tiny House And Its Dramatic Surroundings

Photographers have a knack for finding beauty in mundane structures -- it's their job. But there's something about Manuel Cosentino's simple but ever so romantic series, "Behind a Little House," that's sent our hearts fluttering.

The subject of the project is a tiny, nondescript house positioned ever so modestly on an unnamed hill. Cosentino photographed the small residence for close to two years, capturing the wild and dramatic weather patterns that took place just beyond the home's roof.

The resulting images -- stark tableaus that showcase the barely-there house contrasted against impossible to miss landscapes -- are nothing short of breathtaking. Scroll down for a sneak peek at the series, on view now at New York's Klompching Gallery. Let us know your thoughts on the whimsical ode to a home in the comments.
