Adam Pally Joins 'The Mindy Project'

'Happy Endings' Star Joins 'The Mindy Project'

Adam Pally is checking into "The Mindy Project."

For three years, Pally played Max on "Happy Endings," which was canceled by ABC in May. Despite efforts to keep the show going, it did not find a new home.

Pally isn't the only "Happy Endings" star to find work on a new show. His co-star Damon Wayans Jr. is returning to "New Girl" for multiple episodes. Wayans Jr. appeared in the first episode of "New Girl," but didn't continue on the series when "Happy Endings" was picked up.

Pally's other TV credits include "Californication," "NTSF:SD:SUV" and "Kroll Show."

"The Mindy Project" returns to Fox on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 9:30 p.m. ET.
