Stanley Cup Prank: Chicago Reporters Trick Bostonians, Somehow Don't Get Beaten Up (VIDEO)

How Did These Two Guys NOT Get Beaten Up?

A couple of Chicago reporters decided to play a little prank on Boston hockey fans and somehow made it out alive.

Walking around town with a large case purported to have the actual Stanley Cup in it, the guys stopped to let fans take photos, then pretended to drop it repeatedly and finally opened the case to reveal a Blackhawks jersey.

The news team, WGN Morning News, is no stranger to on-air jokery, but it's not always intentional. This is the same Emmy-winning crew that mistook a plane crash staged for the NBC series "Chicago Fire" for the real thing.

Kudos to these gentlemen for taking their lives into their own hands for the sake of laughs.
