"Kirstie," the new TV Land comedy starring Kirstie Alley (formerly called "Giant Baby"), is shaping up to be a sitcom fan's dream show, as the network announced that "Seinfeld" star Jason Alexander has been tapped for a guest role as the agent of Alley's character. Alexander will reunite with fellow "Seinfeld" alum Michael Richards in an episode shooting later this month, and the character has the potential to recur.
In a statement, Alexander said, "It is a strange and wonderful thing to be working on a brand new show yet surrounded by familiar faces and friends. I'm looking forward to a fun and fabulous time."
The show centers around Broadway star Madison Banks (Kirstie Alley) whose life turns upside down when Arlo (Eric Petersen), the son she gave up at birth, suddenly appears, hoping to connect after his adoptive parents have died.
Richards stars as Maddie's outlandish driver, while Alley's "Cheers" co-star Rhea Perlman appears as Maddie’s assistant and best friend.
