'Doctor Who' 50th Anniversary Won't Feature Any Other Returning Doctors

No More 'Doctors'

The "Doctor Who" 50th anniversary special won't have any other returning Doctors besides Ten, played by David Tennant. According to the official "Doctor Who" magazine, Tennant and current star Matt Smith are the only Doctors in the upcoming anniversary special.

Tennant and Billie Piper will join Smith and Jenna-Louise Coleman in the upcoming special that celebrates 50 years of "Doctor Who."

The cast of "Doctor Who's" 50th anniversary special also includes Jemma Redgrave, John Hurt and Joanna Page.

John Barrowman will not return as Captain Jack Harkness. “Everyone on Twitter tries to make it like it’s my decision, but the bottom line is I was not asked,” Barrowman told TVLine. “[The Powers That Be] don’t want to put Jack in it. And I know fans are really upset about it, as was I."
