Kevin Ware has tweeted that he is done with Twitter.

The Louisville basketball star posted his "last tweet" on Monday afternoon. He noted that team rules preclude Louisville players from being on Twitter but also took a parting shot at TMZ. The dig was an apparent response to a story on the website about his sex life.

This is my last tweet. All the support from fans was well appreciated but its a team rule. Losers like tmz is a prime example why I don't.

TMZ approached Ware in Washington D.C., where he attended the White House Correspondants' Association Dinner with his girlfriend, and asked him if his leg injury "has slowed down the sex life." Ware, who caught the nation's attention when he suffered a gruesome leg fracture in the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament, nodded his head no and smiled.

Before the national championship game between Michigan and Louisville, Cardinals star point guard Peyton Siva told michigandaily.com that "We don’t Twitter, we do Instagram" because coach Rick Pitino "doesn’t know what that is yet." Not long after his supposed last tweet, Ware posted a quote on his Instagram, which was then cross-posted to his Twitter account.
