Gucci Mane could be facing some serious jail time.

According to WSBTV, the rapper was indicted in an Atlanta court on Tuesday on one count of aggravated assault. The 33-year-old "Spring Breakers" star allegedly attacked a fan at a nightclub on March 16.

The New York Daily News reports that Gucci Mane -- whose real name is Radric Davis -- has been behind bars on March 26, when the rapper turned himself into police custody.

An arrest warrant had been issued for the "Lemonade" rapper after he allegedly smashed a champagne bottle on the head of James Lettley, a soldier and fan who says he had merely approached Gucci Mane for a photograph when he said the assault occurred.

Lettley said he received 10 stitches as a result, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

This isn't the first time that Gucci Mane has been in trouble with the law. As E! Online points out, the rapper has been put behind bars at least five times throughout the past eight years on drug, weapon and assault charges. In 2005, Gucci Mane was put on trial for murder; the charges were eventually dropped due to lack of evidence.
