Sloth 'Attack' Video Will Be Happiest 20 Seconds Of Your Day, Guaranteed

Sloth Attack! You Can Run, But Why Would You?

Sloth attack? More like cuteness attack, amiright?

This recently unearthed 20-seconds of viral video gold is breathtakingly simple. It even answers a long-standing question: What animal would you most want to be attacked by?

The Internet long ago fell in love with the world's slowest mammal, a herbivore that resides mostly in trees and can sleep for the majority of the day. In fact, The Washington Post confidently declared sloths "the new kittens" in 2011.

Sloths riding on boats are pretty amazing. So are baby sloths that just want to give you a flower. And of course, who could forget this video of an entire bucketful of baby sloths?

On a more serious note, however, some species of sloth are at risk, including the critically endangered pygmy three-toed sloth. This adorable animal is "one of the rarest mammals in the world," according to the Scientific American.
