Brad Paisley And LL Cool J Release Another Collaboration Despite 'Accidental Racist' Backlash

ANOTHER Collab From Brad and LL?

What, you mean you didn't already get enough of Brad Paisley and LL Cool J with their absurd collaboration "Accidental Racist"?

Don't worry, they're back for more -- this time debuting a track that will appear on LL's album instead of Paisley's. The song, entitled "Live For You," isn't likely to spark the same general outrage that "Racist" did, as its silly, lovelorn lyrics are comparatively tame. Instead, we're left to continue wondering why these two gentlemen decided to merge their talents in the first place.

Paisley provided a mildly satisfactory answer to that question in a new interview with Guitar World, essentially saying that he reached out to LL (we're still not sure why, aside from LL's being "a great guy and incredibly classy") and the rapper acquiesced.

"LL Cool J is so smart, and he approached it from a great perspective," Paisley told Guitar World. "We both believe in what we said, and getting to do that together was fun. It was a collaborative event between LL and me. ... I played him what I was working on and asked if he wanted to be part of it, and he said that he did."

If LL disagrees with Paisley's assertion that he "wouldn't change a thing" about "Accidental Racist," he's staying mum. "I'm really proud of it, and I hope the world hears it and enjoys it," LL said Sunday at the Academy of Country Music Awards.

Paisley's new album, "Wheelhouse," was released April 9. LL Cool J's "Authentic," which does not include "Accidental Racist," will be out April 30.
