Off-Duty Officers Wearing Animal Onesies Arrest Man In West Midlands (PHOTO)

LOOK: Off-Duty Officers Wore WHAT While Making An Arrest?!

These police officers certainly earned their stripes.

Two off-duty West Midlands officers may have been wearing animal onesies, but that didn't stop them from making an arrest during a night out in Coventry in the United Kingdom.

Yes, you read right: animal onesies.

Taking to Twitter, the Solihull Police described how two of its officers arrested a man while wearing monkey and zebra costumes.

According to the Express & Star, the unusually dressed officers arrested a 48-year-old man who allegedly threatened to kill people in a Co-operative Food store. As ITV notes, on-duty officers were then called to take the man in.

While the arrest occurred on March 25, the story was not reported until several days later when the police department shared a photo on Twitter.

The man in custody has since been charged with two public order offenses.
