FX announced that it's splitting off in a sister channel, FXX, and one of the biggest changes is revamping the weekly "Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell" as a five-nights-a-week talk show, reports Deadline.

"Totally Biased," which is executive produced by Chris Rock, was launched in August of 2012, adapting San Francisco native Bell's live show as a weekly comedy program with a distinctly progressive point of view. It has developed a following for blending social and political commentary with celebrity interviews and man-on-the-street remote pieces.

The show was renewed for a second season in January alongside Russell Brand's talk show "Brand X," which is unconfirmed to return for a third season, but will move to FXX if it does.

Along with "Totally Biased," comedies "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," "The League," and "Legit" will move to FXX. "Louie" and "Archer" will remain on FX.

FX and FXX are owned by News Corp, which also owns the the Fox network and the right-leaning Fox News. In an ironic twist, the proudly left-wing "Totally Biased" will now be the only nightly talk show on a News Corp-owned station.
