As always, it's been a busy week for marriage equality. There was Rob Portman and his gay son, Obama's comments on the cases before the Supreme Court, and lots of legislation advancing from Colorado to Rhode Island. And of course there was the news about Hillary.

Obama's comments may be the most stand-up-and-cheer of the week; the president told ABC News that he couldn't think of a situation in which a state ban on marriage equality could be constitutional. OK, thanks!

Not to be outdone, Hillary Clinton released a video in which she wholeheartedly endorsed the freedom to marry. OK, thanks again!

Meanwhile, the Colorado House of Representatives voted 29 to 26 in favor of civil unions. A marriage equality bill passed House and Senate committees in Minnesota. Rhode Island's Senate Judicary Committee is scheduled to hear a marriage equality bill on Thursday, March 21. And a new survey from Public Policy Polling shows that 45 percent of Pennsylvanians support marriage equality, with 47 percent opposed.
