Chocolate Room Sculptor Elena Kliment Creates Lounge Made Entirely Of Confection (PHOTOS)

Paging Willy Wonka -- a sculptor in Belarus has created a room made entirely of chocolate.

Artist Elena Kliment required more than 1,300 pounds (600 kg) of Belgian chocolate to complete the room's chairs, table, fireplace flower pot, tea cups, drawers and other elements, which were installed over a period of two weeks at the ALL shopping center in Minsk. The room was unveiled on March 8; Kliment had previously spent two months planning the spectacle.

The chocolate room will remain on display until April 14, when it will be broken up into small chunks and offered to visitors to taste. (Although, we're not entirely sure how it will taste by then!)

Kliment's creation eclipses another chocolate room that captured our attention in 2011, when another sculptor, Mindaugas Tendziagolskis created one in Vilnius, Lithuania. Tendziagolskis's room used about 660 pounds of chocolate -- about half the amount of Kliment's.
