Cheryl Tiegs Lists L.A. Mansion For Sale (PHOTOS)

Where do former "Sports Illustrated" swimsuit issue models wind up? Well, to find out, we'll just have to watch for the sale of uber-model Cheryl Tiegs' Bel-Air home, which just came on the market for a tidy $12 million.

The 65-year-old Tiegs, considered America's first supermodel, graced the cover of the swimsuit editions in 1970, 1975 and 1983. The 1978 poster of her sporting a pink bikini is an iconic 1970s pop culture image.

The 4,770-square-foot Balinese-inspired house she is selling sits on 1.5 landscaped acres in an exclusive area of Los Angeles.

The one-story home was designed by Martyn Lawrence Bullard, whose other celebrity clients include Cher, Elton John and Kid Rock. Tiegs has appeared on “The Apprentice” and “About Face: Supermodels Then and Now.”

Joseph Babajian of Rodeo Realty, Beverly Hills, has the listing.
