Alana Thompson's father Michael Thompson -- known as Sugar Bear on TLC's "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" -- was rushed to the hospital Monday after suffering from chest pains, according to a Thursday update on the family's official Facebook page. After undergoing tests in the ICU, he was diagnosed with pancreatitis.
According to the update from June "Mama" Thompson, Sugar Bear spent one night in intensive care. Doctors are still running tests to determine what is causing the inflammation in his pancreas.
Mama June's Facebook update is presented in full below:

Sugar Bear has had a rough year health-wise. A post-injury foot infection landed him in the hospital in September. A few months later, paramedics were called to the family's Georgia home when he fell ill during the family's Christmas toy drive. He was reportedly suffering from high blood pressure.
Season 2 of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" premieres in May on TLC.
