Chelsea Handler appears to be so fearless that you'd think she never gets intimidated by celebrities. But she admitted on "The Tonight Show" that there is one celebrity who left her completely out of sorts. It was when Oprah Winfrey dropped by her house to interview her for an upcoming episode of "Oprah's Next Chapter."
Handler couldn't believe that Winfrey even knew who she was, much less knew so much about her. First, though, she had to get over how weird it was for her that the Oprah Winfrey was in her house. Even though she doesn't get starstruck, there are stars and then there is Oprah Winfrey.
"She was quoting things from my books and from my TV shows and then she asked me about my dad sleeping with his Jamaican cleaning lady," Handler said. She even told Winfrey, "Oprah, this is awkward to talk to you."
For now, fans can see Chelsea Handler on "Chelsea Lately," weeknights at 11 p.m. EST on E! Plus, her behind-the-scenes mockumentary comedy series "After Lately" returns to the air February 25 at 10:30 p.m. with new episodes. "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. EST on NBC.
