Kristen Aiken, HuffPost Taste Editor, Gets Beauty Tips From 'My So-Called Life'

This Editor Gets Beauty Tips From 'My So-Called Life'

“I’ve never colored my hair ― I’m a little bit afraid that if I color it and don’t like it, I’ll never be able to get it back, so I just keep it,” says Kristen Aiken, the Taste senior editor here at The Huffington Post. After seeing the natural redhead around the newsroom, we have to say we’re in agreement. When we pressed her for more hair tricks, she offered up this awesome bit of advice:

“There’s an episode of ‘My So-Called Life’ where Brian Krakow told Angela Chase that her hair smelled like a grove of orange trees. I remember hearing that in 7th grade and thinking it was the greatest thing ever. So every morning I put a little bit of orange extract in my hair serum, and I rub it through the ends of my hair. It’s a nice boost throughout the day.” Amazing.
