'Occupy Conan': Fan-Sourced Episode Featured Tina Fey And Hundreds Of Fans (VIDEO)

WATCH: Conan's Fans Take Over His Show

When the "Occupy Conan" project was announced in October, it seemed like an impossible stunt to pull off. Conan O'Brien and TBS called on fans to recreate an entire episode of "Conan," which would then be stitched together to create an entirely "fan-sourced" episode of the show.

O'Brien encouraged that there be no limitations for how his fans would make the show -- stop-motion animation and other out-of-the-box methods of portraying the show were encouraged. As Conan wrote when posting the episode online, [Y]our amazing talent and creativity could very well transform the medium of television, or it could DESTROY it."

On Friday, the public finally got to see the end result of "Occupy Conan" in its entirety for the first time. The fact that O'Brien's team pulled off the show is about an impressive a feat as the episode itself, which is chock full of homemade recreations of the show.

In addition to Conan and Andy Richter, the original show's guests, Will Ferrell, Anne Hathaway Steve Ho and Fun., were all recreated in true DIY fashion. Hundreds of segments using webcams, animation, puppets and other creative interpretations (such as Richter as an egg, or fans using unorthodox body parts to represent Conan) were on full display.

Tina Fey made a surprise appearance playing Conan, apparently paying back his favor of making an extremely rare NBC appearance on the finale of "30 Rock." Other celebrities playing Conan were Joel McHale, Nick Offerman, Seth Green, Adam Scott, Fred Armisen, Jack McBrayer and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Plus, Jim Rash from "Community" played Andy Richter at one point.
