Michael Jordan's New Florida House Is Absolutely Freaking Gigantic (VIDEO, PHOTOS)

LOOK: Michael Jordan's SPRAWLING New Pad

He's a big guy -- but NBA legend Michael Jordan's new home is absolutely gigantic.

MJ and his fiancee Yvette Prieto have finally moved into his massive new South Florida pad after nearly two years of planning and construction, according to realtor Jeff Lichtenstein, who specializes in luxury Palm Beach homes and Delray Beach estates. But the long wait is just about the only hardship associated with this sprawling compound: the former Chicago Bull is ensconced in golf legend Jack Nicklaus's uber-exclusive The Bear's Club community, where the membership initiation fee alone is reportedly $350,000 -- and then there's monthly dues.

(For that money, he ought to be able to wear all the cargo shorts on the golf course he wants.)

But Jordan can apparently afford all that, despite forking over $168 million to first wife Juanita. Lichtenstein reports MJ paid $4,800,000 for the massive 3-acre parcel and spent $7,6000,000 on construction. The total cost just might make Jordan's home the most expensive non-waterfront home in the Palm Beaches, a far cry from the $281,000 West Kendall home Jordan had been sharing with Prieto in Miami during construction.

Now, the newly-engaged couple are enjoying 11 bedrooms with a 2-story guard house, a media room rumored built to handle massive amounts of cigar smoke, and an athletic wing with a basketball court. But still...no water? In Florida? For millions?

"It would be interesting to see what the Jordan home resells for, being that its location, while great for MJ’s privacy, is not ideal for resale to the trophy and yacht buyer," wrote realtor Carey Lichteinstein.
